http://www.scala-lang.org/downloads/distrib/files/scala-2.9.0.1.tgz

After installing the patch on OSX (either using the .jar or the .sh script) - I get the following error...

Indeed, I had the same problem and setting the zone filter to BLACKLIST seems to have solved it!
