NPC's

Are there any built in features, of SmartFox 2x, for NPC's that are compatible with Unity3D?

The reason I ask is because I came across something that was talking about creating an NPC, it may be an Open Space only thing or something...

At this point, I don't know how to create an instance and keep it in memory for use. I only have experience with 1-execution extensions.

Edit: What I found was reference to "createNPC". Are there any examples of this being used, maybe?

Not used that myself yet - but I think you can create "NPC connections" on the extension side and have them act as real clients. Requires extension code.

Try to ask in the regular 2x forums - must be someone there who might have some experience and possibly code to share

It states in the documents that the createNPC function have a small bug that doesnt release it as soon as its created. This mean it will be instantiated for the lifetime of the server object. I wonder if that was fixed.

I'm not sure. I'm not even sure what the function is used for, as you don't need it to actually create NPCs. (I didn't anyway.)
