The API tells something about this method of 'Room' class.
I receive an object like this on the 'onRoomListUpdate', but can't parse through it's properties. It looks like empty.
The user hasn't joined the room yet.
Can I access the users in a room without joining the room?
getUserList
spectacor
Then the valid solution is to create a spectacor user, join the room, and the user when filled out his details, then turn him to gamer?
I want o do something like that a user can see the he user in the room, sees their words, but can't tell into the room, until he fill out his details.

Re: spectacor
Sorry I am not following you... Could you explain this a little bit better, please?BadDude wrote: I want o do something like that a user can see the he user in the room, sees their words, but can't tell into the room, until he fill out his details.
Thanks
Khm.
So imagine that theres a room, there are a lot of users inside, and they are talking. Everybody can see, what they are talking about, but you will only appear in the user list, if you starts talking.
A would like to make a "visual chat", every user represented by a little avatar, with bubbles, like in cartoon. You have an input field, you can enter your message. If you said something, your avatar enters among the other figures, if you don't say anything, your avatars won't appears on the stage.
Is this clear?
I'm not very god in english, sorry.

ok, it is clear. We have done something very similar to that in our SmartChat , you can check it here >> http://www.gotoandplay.it/_games/playGame.php?g=102
I don't understand your joining system however
Usually a chat is made of many rooms, not just one otherwise it's going to be very difficult to understand the discussions. So if you're interested in looking what's going on in a certain room why don't you just join it?
You said you should enter a room invisibly and when you type something you appear... that's okay. But what appears? Where do you choose your avatar? And nickname?
It would be much better if you set it up once, by registering in the chat, and then use it in all rooms.
Another question... if you appear only when you type? Do you disappear when you're not typing?
Maybe you should either re-think this system or try to explain a little more in detail how this system should work.
Hope I made myself clear
