Hey guys
I am running SFS with a particularised database.

Config XML :
<DatabaseManager active="true">
<Driver>org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver</Driver>
<ConnectionString>jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1:3306/chatzone</ConnectionString>

The driver is in it's place :
jre/lib/ext/org/gjt/mm/mysql/Driver.java

The error I get is :

Do you have any idea what might be causing this ?

OS : Windows 2003 server
version : SFS Pro

You should make sure that the test SQL in your config is valid and produces a recordset.

Well, the SQL statement is running well.
I am currently running the same thing on Win 7, same database, same config, same everything ( IP is for local ) , the only difference is that I recently installed Java on the Win 2003 server machine.
It's working in Win 7 perfectly, it won't start on 2003.

Any clues ?

The beginning of that error stack dump would be of interest to us.

Please paste the entire stack dump. You could copy the stackdump from {your sfs installation path}\Server\logs\wrapper_NNNNNNN.log

Sorry, you're right. It doesn't contain useful information of the crash.

Try this:
1. Right click in the command prompt
2. Select 'Mark'
3. Mark the entire stack dump of the crash
4. Press 'Enter' to copy the information into your clipboard
5. Paste it here with Code tags.

Seems strange to me that it doesn't load the driver, the placement is good and the driver is loaded in Win 7 without problems.

You'll find that this problem is quite common. Using the search tool, I found: http://forums.smartfoxserver.com/viewtopic.php?t=9410. You may need to add a sql-connector jar file and add reference to it in your start.bat
