OpenSpace is Appropriate or Not?

Hi Bax -
I like your responsiveness on this board.
Here's our plan:
We are making a game with a large number of NPCs. The NPCs have behavior that responds to the game conditions, particularly one-on-one interaction with (real) Players. They are organiized into teams, each under the direction of a real player.
The game is much like a classic strat game, but rather than mayhem, your units use social behavior.
The iso maps are used for simple interactions and locomotion and observation of your opponent's movements. Much action occurs in special flash sequences - fullscreen interactive displays which include flv video.
The iso world connects these flash/video moments and to provides context to each. The gamelogic would be server side -- preferably in c++ or actionscript.
I hope this description makes sense enough that you can advise whether OpenSpace & SmartFoxBits is a good platform for us.
Thanks
