SFS Connection failure after Flash Pro IDE crash?

Hi Everyone,
Had an unusual event tonight and wondering if anyone else has experienced similar or has ideas...
I've been developing a Flash app for a few months using Adobe Flash Builder and Flash Pro CS5.5, routinely testing my SWF using the built-in Flash Pro IDE environment (I have SFS 2x installed locally on my development machine). Been working fabulously since I started project. Have experienced occassional Flash Pro app crash, but not too bad. Restart Flash Pro and back at it.
But tonight something unexpected and troubling occurred. While testing my SWF using the IDE, I had a sudden Flash Pro crash. After ending and restarting the app, when I tested my movie I could no longer get the SFS SmartBits connector to connect to SFS. Checked everything I coudl think of to no avail. Separate FLA files would connect just fine using the IDE, but not this one that was running during the crash. Even more odd, I tested the SWF that failed to connect using the IDE on my web server through a browser and it worked just fine.
Afer several worrisome hours, I rebuilt the client app in a fresh/new as3 FLA file. I re-used everything EXCEPT the SFS SmartBits. Those I inserted fresh from my components panel into the new FLA. It immediately worked on the first test.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? Any ideas what I might have been able to look at or fix (should this happen again)?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Bill
p.s. kudos to the SFS team! This is my first major SFS effort, and what a great product you've built -- great job!
