Can the server listen on multiple IPs?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if smart fox can listen on more than one IP at a time? For example, if my server has more than one IP, can SFS be configured to listen to all registered IPs or is it limited to the single entry in <ServerIP>?

I also guessed that these might work, but unfortunately they don't:

Code: Select all

<ServerIP>*</ServerIP>
<ServerIP>127.0.0.1, 192.168.2.1</ServerIP>
<ServerIP>*.*.*.*</ServerIP>

Thanks,

-mark

Hi,
starting from the latest patch (1.5.8c) SmartFoxServer automatically listens on all available network cards installed on the machine.

You don't have to alter anything in the main config file

Hi Lapo,

Where can I download the latest patch (1.5.8c)? The downloads section on the product page still links to v1.5.5.

Thanks,

There's a link in the homepage.
Anyways, I think it's better to link it from the download page as well. Thanks for reporting
