Serverside Extension editor is the Admin Tool

I really enjoy using the Admin Tool for editing my config.xml file. Really easy to save and reload everything. It would be really nice if you could edit the serverside scripts though it as well. Should be really easy, right? Just throw in another 'config.xml' editor, but changes the files it edits.
I'd love to have this feature.

Humm ... I don't know.
Yeah it would be possible, however the standard textarea component isn't really good for code editing.
It misses at least three important features:
no tab handling
no color coding
no line numbers
It' usually better to use an external editory like SEPY or Notepad++ which have these features plus many more. (Brace matching, find and replace, code folding, function list etc...)
The text area might be useful for very simple extensions but it will be quite unusable for anything with more than 100 lines.

I figure mainly for minor changes. Also, for remote editing. I don't always have access to my server, or even software to remote in. But if I can access the admin tool on the server, I can do some work.
