SFS2X Server Log Analysis fail and long startup time

Hello again,

I have 2 little issues I would like to fix, first everytime I do a log analysis from inside the AdminTool, the SFS2X Server terminal shows this trace:
LogAnalysisKeepsFailing.png
(46.98 KiB) Not downloaded yet

So it says that all log lines where skipped due to timestamp errors, multi-line or something else... This happens everytime I do a log analysis from the Analysis Tab.
Im running Win 10, and my time is network time, with the appropriate TimeZone. (Nothing out of the ordinary)

Second, the startup time for the SFS2X Server is quite long due to TLD scanning of JARs, I would like to disable this scanning if possible..
SFSStartupWoes.png
(182.52 KiB) Not downloaded yet

Somehow, someway, one time I started the server in some other way (not using the .exe or .bat) and it just started without scanning all those JARs, but I have no idea anymore how I did that, it was a few weeks ago aswell...

Thanks!

Can you please send us your log files? We'd like to inspect it to understand why it is not being processed.
Thank you.

It depends on a lot the hardware you're using. On multicore machines it boots up pretty fast. E.g. on a 4 year old macbook air it takes 5 seconds.
On a raspberry pi 4 it takes 3 times as much, mostly due to it running on a slow SD card drive.

Also when Tomcat starts it initializes the SecureRandom class to generate session ids and that's usually slow, especially on older processors. As regards the jar scanning I don't have specific suggestions. I know that you can configure an "exclusion list" under the conf/catalina.properties in the standard Tomca config, but this may cause issues depending on which jars you're going to exclude.

Cheers

Hi, thanks for the replies.
What email address can I send my log files to? I cant upload them here due to being the wrong file type(.log, .txt and .{DATE}).

I have sent it to support@... , fingers crossed that its correct, otherwise I will wait for the correct email address.

Thanks!
