Hey,

I'm creating a chat from scratch, but am looking at the demo chats as reference. With my chat I want to have 2 swf files, 1 for the chat, and 1 for the online list. Now, to actually get the users into the online swf, i'm sending an array from the chat swf to the online swf using LocalConnection(). It's not great, so I wondered, is there a better way to do this that i'm not aware of?

Your choice is right. The LocalConnection is the only way to have two SWFs talk together, however why do you use 2 files instead of one?

The chat is going to be integrated into our site, so the online list needs to be way over to the left, and the chat to the right
