Trial Editor Question

When I try to launch the editor for the ranch, I get the following eror.
An error occurred while loading the 'project.osp' file:
Error #2004
Does anyone know what this means?
I edited the project.osp file with wordpad and changed the swf library line to swfLibrary:ranchSkins.swf and copied the ranchSkins.swf file into the folder where the project.osp file is so the editor could easily find it.
Thanks,
Dave

You need to have the absolute path for swf file.
If you don't still get it, please post your contents of project.osp file.

Thanks for your reply. Here is the contents of the file.
Note: I have placed the ranchSkins.swf in the same folder as the project.osp file to avoid confusion.
title:Ranch example
swfLibrary:ranchSkins.swf
avatarScale:100
tileSize:60
tileRatio:0.5
showTileElevation:1
customParamsSeparator:|
usetileheight:1
I still get the error.
Thanks,
Dave

swfLibrary:ranchSkins.swf
Even though we put swf file in the same folder as project, you need to specify the path.
ex) if you use pc:
swfLibrary:file:///C|/project/ranchSkins.swf

I tried with the syntax you proveded. It looked like this:
swfLibrary:file:///c|/Documents and Settings/david/Desktop/openSpace/[examples]/FarWest_Ranch/editorData/ranchSkins.swf
I got this error:
Project data is invalid:
- the swf library file doesn't exist
- the 'use tile height' parameter must be = 1 when the tile ratio is < 1
When i removed one of the '/' from the file:/// to make it look like this:
swfLibrary:file://c|/Documents and Settings/david/Desktop/openSpace/[examples]/FarWest_Ranch/editorData/ranchSkins.swf
It seems like it's finding the file but I still get this error:
An error occurred while loading the 'project.osp' file:
Error #2004
FWIW - I just downloaded the .zip file containing all the files today from the openSpace website. Could there be a corrupt file in there? The editor seemed to install properly. The only thing out of the ordinary was that I got a prompt from Adobe to update my Adobe Air after the editor installed - which I selected to do. I'm sorry to be such a pain about this. I really want to get the editor working properly. Any more thoughts would be appreciated.

The path should be:
swfLibrary:c:\Documents and Settings\david\Desktop\openSpace\[examples]\FarWest_Ranch\editorData\ranchSkins.swf
The commercial release of the OpenSpace Editor was modified to handle relative paths. We will publish soon an updated evaluation version.

The final version (both engine and editor) is already available, even if not officially released because we are completing the documentation. If you are interested in buying it just contact us by email.
