Hello,
the SmartFox team is happy to announce the release of the iPhone/iPod API which adds the Apple's most wanted mobile device to the list of supported clients by SmartFoxServer.

The API are written in Objective-C and can be easily integrated in any iPhone game or application via XCode.

The current release is in beta, yet it is already well tested and ready for use.

The package includes:

* Binaries and source code
* Detailed API documentation
* SimpleChat example application (more to come soon...)

Download the API

As usual feedback is always welcome :)

Perfect - just what I needed for our native games.

Once I get time (lol), I'll give it a spin for Smack Boxing (one of our iPhone games)

That is awesome. I was just a moment before considering to write an api myself now that our iApp is pretty much through with a singleplayer version (the flash multiplayer version of the same game using sfs already running on a test license for a few weeks now). I'll check back once I've worked some with the api.
If that goes well we're gonna be coming back for an sfs license I'm sure.

libxml issue?

I'm assuming this should simply build in XCode, but I'm immediately getting 260+ XML-related issues that, I have to believe, stem from not properly including libxml.

I have "/usr/include/libxml2" setup in the Project's Header Search Paths and it exists on my system.

All errors resemble...
error: libxml/filename.h: No such file or directory

... and others, which are all XML related.

Any thoughts?

Ignore that last post - FIXED by changing path to:

/Developer/Platforms/iPhoneOS.platform/Developer/SDKs/iPhoneOS2.1.sdk/usr/include/libxml2
