I need to show a layer over the OS component, but the "Powered by OpenSpace" text becomes invisible and throws an error in this case. So could I some how (API or access to "Powered by OpenSpace" instance) manually bring it up?

This is not possible, sorry. Not sure if leaving a "hole" in your layer is enough.
