Infinitely stuck on "Requesting data..."
Infinitely stuck on "Requesting data..."
I'm currently developing a private server for a game, (which also uses smartfox). And when I go to zone monitor and attempt to monitor the zone, it's infinitely stuck on Requesting data.

It is against the rules to create a private game server.

Check your SmartFoxServer log files, you'll probably find some errors.
Let us know.
Cheers

What rules are you referring to?

Wait a minute, is it allowed to set up an unofficial server for a game?
Re: Infinitely stuck on "Requesting data..."
Ok I see. You mean a cracked game pointed to a different (unofficial/private) SmartFoxServer.
Well that's obviously not legal. It should go without saying. But I would also expect that any reasonably decent game would depend on server side code and maybe a database too. So I don't even think it's feasible before it's illegal
(but you never know, of course)
