Re: Announcing SmartFoxServer 3!
Will it support Adobe AIR?
Re: Announcing SmartFoxServer 3!
Given that this has been requested multiple times we'll look into it.
Originally the plan was to skip the old Macromedia/Adobe technologies as they have been dead for a while, but apparently there's still a lot of people working with Actionscript and deploying apps via AIR (or similar tools)
Cheers

The haxe target is ideal for this job, you can export it as a swc and it can be used in haxe targets.

Will be available the client api for haxe then ?
Re: Announcing SmartFoxServer 3!
The initial release will provide Java, C#/DotNet, and Javascript API.
Swift/iOS is under development.
As regards Flash/AIR we'll have to look into it. If it is feasible we'll do it, in due time.
Cheers

How about opening a survey about requested languages?
Re: Announcing SmartFoxServer 3!
Sure. What languages should be part of the survey?

I think should include the languages of the APIs currently being developed in the survey as well, so that can generate accurate statistics.
- C#
- C++
- JavaScript
- Python
- Lua
- Rust
- Swift / Objective-C
- GML
- Haxe
- ActionScript 3
Note: Can output JavaScript and Flash libraries with Haxe, these outputs comply with standards. (https://try.openfl.org/)
It might make more sense to do this instead of developing a JavaScript or Flash API.
A similar one is valid in JVM but I do not recommend it as there may be some compatibility issues.
