Setting Access Points on map

Post by JPBCrea »

Hi, I'm new to openSpace, so I'm stuck with this problem.

I need to create different access points among my map.
My questions is,
Do I have to create a new access point (I mean, create a specific new tile for each access point) everytime I need one?...or creating the basic tiles (such as two arrows pointing to left and right each one) would allow me to reuse them to every access point I need?

I couldn't find any info on your documentation about how to achieve this using:
OpenSpace Editor > Map Editor > Tile instance properties

I thought using and setting "Tile instance triggers" will allow me to reuse a tile as an accessPoint, but, as I said before, couldn't find any info, and even when I export the map I couldn't see any of these settings on the resulting XML file.

Thank you very much for your time, any help will be appreciated.
Regards,

JP

Drag a tile from the library to the grid in the Map Editor.
While selected, open the properties panel below and check the Access Point checkbox. That's all.
As the "access point" parameter is at instance level, you can drag the same tile from the library multiple times and set the "access point" flag for each instance.
