Unable to open Map instance within OpenSpace

I currently have an .osp that contains a single map instance. I edited the map, updated the map, and saved. After this I could no longer open the map instance within the osp. I can not clone the instance. I can delete the map instance. After copying the code within the osp, and pasting into a new document, I am seeing the same behavior.

The .osp code looks the same as an .osp that is working as expected, and the exported map is functional.

Any ideas on a solution?
