foreground movie clip interactions

I am using the trial version and would like to know if there is a way to interact with a movie clip in the foreground like you can with a skin attached to a tile.

The getMapObject looks like it only can access a tile skin.

An example of what I am looking for is to make the clouds become rain clouds after the avatar moves over a sensor.

Is that possible?

This is not possible in OpenSpace 1 as you have no methods to access the background or foreground movieclips.
This has been improved in OpenSpace 2, where you have the OpenSpace.getBackgroundParts and OpenSpace.getForegroundParts methods.
