Then I'm starting SmartFoxServer manually by terminal it works fine, but how to start it as a service?
I'm using Joyent Accelerator with SunOS 5.11 snv_121 i86pc i386 i86pc.
SmartFoxServer PRO 1.6.6 64-bit + SmartFoxServer PRO Patch 1.6.8 + Tanuki Java Service Wrapper 3.4.0 64-bit Community edition for Solaris x86
There is no service instructions for other Unixes in your manual:
http://smartfoxserver.com/docs/docPages ... lation.htm
I can't run SmartFoxServer as a service/daemon
We provide instructions for running the server as daemon/service for Windows and Linux but unfortunately we're not able to help for other Unix variants.
I am quite confident that the way to do it is probably very similar to Linux.
Maybe it's even identical.
All you need to do is incorporate the ./sfs script in your OS boot script launcher... I think that with a little research in the official docs of your OS you should be able to do it quickly.
