new avatar example

Hy, sorry by annoying, but as far as I have to give our sponsors a schedule on transfering our application to work with the new openspace2 (instead of 1 that is working right now), I have to know some evaluation about when your
planing to publish the new avatar operation example that you've talked about a week or so ago

Actually it has already been published 2 days ago, as part of OpenSpace 2.0.1 release (you will find a sticky post in this forum).

Hi there,
Im trying to run the new flash example.
it compiles fine, and it loads all the assets(maps, inv, avatar, etc).
but once i click anywhere in the screen to make the avatar move, i ll get the following error:

[ERROR] An error occurred in the OpenSpace Extension while processing a pathfinding request; please check the server-side logs for details (0700)

but the logs are empty.
i've follow all the instructions, not sure what im missing.

im using sfs 1.6.8 and openspace 2.
running Flash CS5 on win7.

Unless you have turned off the messages in the server-side OpenSpace configuration, you should see a lot of debug informations from the OpenSpace extension. There you should find what is going on with that pathfinding request.

no, i havent turned off the messages in the server-side configuration file.

In the log folder theres a few files,

If you launch SFS in a terminal window, you can see the logged messages directly in the terminal. If you run SFS as a service, check the logs/wrapper*.* files instead.
There you will find the informations logged by the OpenSpace extension, among which you should find a reason for the pathfinding error reported by the client.

no, theres no message on my terminal as well.
and the logs in the admin console are also empty.

If not, you probably have turned off the logging in some way (or are you connecting to a different instance of SFS?).
