hello lapo,
After extensive testing of our two multiplayer games on www.gamesheep.com , we have found out that if the connection drops from an electrical problem or cable unplugged or losing connection to the internet, the sfs server does not detect that the user exited as it does when the borwser window is closed. So.. the game hangs.. waiting for the other nonexistent player to move. Do you know something about this? Thank you.
when does the server detect the disconnection of the client?

nature has a funny way of breaking what does not bend
Hi,
unfortunately this problem has very little to do with the server. It's a problem with the operating system itself, not detecting the disconnection for a certain amount of time.
The issue has already been discussed in another thread a few months ago --> http://forums.smartfoxserver.com/viewtopic.php?p=1841
