setTimer for every Player HOW in as3 ?

Post by kotbegemot »

Hello :) How i can setTimer for every user in as3 extension. Or may be its better to create one global Timer for every second and test user.var(saved last time) ?

well, never tried it, but im sure that adding a timer to each player would make the server very slow or even crash it. The 2nd option is better, and, on each tick, you loop through all the users and check that variable. But dont make this interval too frequent or you.ll also crash the server

P.s. The server side extensions are as1, not as3 :-)

Hum... So why dont you have a Room extension for each game and in the end, you just send a response to the winner?
