log4j rename error.

Hi,

Here's a new error we've just seen recently in our logs:

log4j:ERROR Failed to rename [logs/smartfox.log] to [logs/smartfox.log.2011-07-12-12].

hi. It looks like a permissions problem. Is sfs2x installed under Windows\Program Files? If yes, could you try installing it in another folder? Dont forget to backup the zone configs and java extensions.

After googling for a while, it looks like this error happens when the file log4j will rename (in this case smartfox.log) is already being used by another program. So, this doesn.t look like a permissions problem. Do you have any program that is using that file at the moment of rename?

No idea. It's possible, but I rarely check logs when I'm running in console mode.
