connection to an external database

I add the mysql driver, then in the zone configurator the option connection. how to test the conection with mysql is succesfull

The "Test SQL" entry in the admin tool is what you are looking for. The successful connection can be observed during startup in the log window.

ok, thanks..when i click the button 'submit' appears the log window or where is the option?

my problem is here in the zone configuration if I can test the database connection or is another option?????

In the Zone Configurator enter the test SQL, then submit your changes and restart the server. Then open the SFS log and check the startup sequence: you will be able to see if the test succeeded or not.

thanks, today I try but i don't see in the file "file:///Applications/SFS2X-RC1a/SFS2X/logs/smartfox.log" nothing about the database connection succesful.

Try launching SFS manually, not as a service. In the terminal window you can see the startup log directly.
