This seems to be a pretty trivial problem that I *hope* has an answer not involving "please upgrade to 2X" since that option would require a huge amount of rewriting.
We are currently using 1X and we've noticed that the autoreload functionality only applies to Extension classes, however since our application is pretty complex, we require to have the same autoreload function for non-Extension class files, like for example DAO classes. How have other users of SFS 1X handled the case of pushing to a live server new non-Extension application class files without restarting the sfs server?
auto reload non extension class files
Re: auto reload non extension class files
When you reload the main Class of your extension all other classes in your application are reloaded as well.
Other dependencies don't get reloaded because they usually are already in the classpath. If you want your DAO classes to be reloaded deploy them together with your extension code.
cheers
