I have the API going nicely on Android 2.2 and newer. However on Android 2.1 the Connection event is not dispatched. It shows in the log that it has been dispatched to 1 listener, but never hits the dispatch handler. 30 seconds later disconnect is fired (after session timeout) and that event is properly received by the dispatch handler.

Any plans to release the code base of the API, I would like to customize it, so it support 2.1 .

The source code of the API is already available. You can get it and make your own changes.

I am looking for the Android client source code , but I only found what looks like server ver 1. There is no RoomManager, BuddyManager or UserMAnager code in it.

The source code is available in the Client folder of you SFS2X installation folder.

Just downloaded the latest Server Linux rar file and there is no source or android client in that set at all. Only iPhone,Unity Flash.

The user base for user 2.1 had dropped, so I think 2.2 and newer will do.
