Small bug with remote administrator logon

Post by Ack »

I seem to have found a small bug with the remote administrator logon.

I have 2 seperate instances of SFS running on my server, each on the same IP address but a different port.

If I use the remote admin tool to attempt to log into the server on one port, but supply an invalid password, and then change the "port" field to the other port and attempt to log into the 2nd instance of the server using the correct username/password, I am denied with the "invalid password" message. I cannot login to the 2nd instance of the server until I go back and login correctly to the first instance or reload the admin tool swf.

I've been able to consistently recreate this bug.

I'm using SFS PRO 1.3.0 linux version
I'm using the AdminTool.swf v1.2.2 in a Firefox 1.0.7 browser using Flash 8.

It's not a huge or important bug, but I thought I'd let you know. :)
