Hi,
We have a smartfox server with 4 zones deployed.
The games are round based board games. They are published to both Android and IOS platforms.
The rate for players being disconnected and cannot re-join the game within 30 seconds is around 2%. Is that disconnection rate normal? Or is it too high?
Some information about the server and client:
Server: SmartfoxServer 2X 2.10.0
HRC+: enabled
User reconnection timeframe: 8
Client: C#1.5.7 / C#1.6.0
Dropped packet: In 0%; Out 0%
We have implemented our own reconnection method. It auto re-joins the game when there is no feedback from server for 8 seconds.
Could we disable HRC+ and use our own method only?
Here is a screen shot of the SmartfoxServer Dashboard for your information:

Thanks

Re: About Disconnection Rate
It seems well within the acceptable range, especially for mobile devices which have typically less stable connections.sunny wrote:Hi,

Yes. You can turn it off and see if it impacts your percentage of failed rejoins. If it increases you can turn it back on, otherwise you can just use your system. We have implemented our own reconnection method. It auto re-joins the game when there is no feedback from server for 8 seconds.
