Registration and authorization [AvatarChat]

Post by jett »

Hello! :)

I need help. I want to create my first online-game by SFS, but I bad in AS. :?
I downloaded and ran the example of an avatar chat. I need to make the registration and authorization of users in the game.
Each account must have its own password and nick name (may be e-mail if it is not difficult)

Guest entry must be removed.
Could you help me? I can draw very well, but I don't know ActionScript.

(sorry for mistakes in the text. I am not from an English-speaking country)
:D :D :D

Hi,
we provide two specific tools for registration and login using a database to keep the user credentials.

Login Assistant: http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Develo ... -assistant
Signup Assistant: http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Develo ... -assistant

And here's a full tutorial on how to integrate the two, using Actionscript:
http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Exampl ... gnup-login

cheers

I have a question about the rooms. How I can add new rooms into my avatarchat (their background) and make "game map" ? :)

Adding new room is done by sending a CreateRoomRequest to the server. (see the API docs for the details)
As to creating maps... it's a bit too vague. Maps are abstractions that you create in your game and then present them with graphics assets on screen etc... etc...

I am not sure what you're really asking here? Maybe it's more of a generic gamedev question than a specific SmartFox-related thing?

cheers

I'm sorry, my question was incorrect.
I created rooms, but I don't know how to set a room's background

This has not very much to do with SmartFoxServer, what you're looking for is a tutorial on how to implement the graphics that you're looking for. I would probably recommend to do some google searching.
