Post by MrPencen »

Hello
I have put that max users can be added in buddyList is 5

Code: Select all

			<BuddyList active="true">
				<size>5</size>
				<maxBuddyVariables>10</maxBuddyVariables>
				<mode>advanced</mode>
				<offLineBuddyVariables>true</offLineBuddyVariables>
				<permissionTimeOut>86400</permissionTimeOut>
				<mutualAddBuddy>true</mutualAddBuddy>
				<mutualRemoveBuddy>true</mutualRemoveBuddy>
			</BuddyList>
and It works but I only need to change the sentence which appears to the user when he try to add someone has ful buddyList
the sentence appears is : "An error occurred while loading thebuddy list: Target buddy list is full"

from where please?

Hi,
in old SFS1.x there was no way to change the API error messages unless you open the sources and modify them directly.

With SFS2X client error messages are entirely customizable, though.

Cheers

By default they are stored in local files, but you won't be able to edit them directly as they are encoded as binary data via Java serialization.
You can read more here:

Section 6.10
