NPC Freezing Game

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anyone can answer this,

I am using SFS PRO 1.6.9 and I am creating an NPC on localhost port 9339.

createNPC("NPC", "127.0.0.1", 9339, zone);

It creates it no problem and I have the NPC go from room to room, when it goes to room to room though it freezes up the entire game. Once it is finished going to all rooms and is destroyed the game continues normally.

I am guessing this happens because the game is on the same port but I am not sure.

Also, the port that is passed into createNPC... does that have to be the same port that an SFS instance is running on? I try to change it to other available ports but I get a "Could not create NPC connection. Too much time elapsed" error.

Can you please provide the steps to reproduce the problem? i.e. how are you transferring a NPC to another room? Where was the 'freezing' noticed? On serverside or client side?
