Make sfs2x-service verbose

Post by Damace »

Hi, everyone!

I run my SFS2X as a service most of the time. Sometimes I need to debug and see trace outputs. Right now I have to stop the server and start sfs2x.sh to see live logs.

Is there a way to debug without interrupting the service?

My server works on Win 7 and I'm just open {SFS2X dir}/SFS2X/logs/smartfox.log in the text editor without server service stop.

Thanks for the reply!

I found a solution for Linux users. In case you want to monitor your service use the tail command.

Type:
tail -f [SFS root folder]/SFS2X/logs/smartfox.log

The -f option is used to follow the logs as they are updated.
