I have a TaskScheduler that routinely sends an update to every user connected to the server. This message is low priority, meaning that it doesn't need to be sent/received right away. I don't want it to interfere with other higher priority, time-sensitive messages that are being sent. Is there a best practice for sending bulk messages like this without hindering server performance?
I may be worrying too much, though; is sending a small message (a couple of ints) simultaneously to a few thousand connected users a trivial task for SFS?
Sending low priority messages in bulk
Re: Sending low priority messages in bulk
Yes, in general there's nothing to worry about.
