Server Memory Usage

Hi,

I have a server (CentOS) running SFS2X v2.9. If I log into the Admin Panel and select the Dashboard, the memory usage of the server climbs from about 20MB to 164MB over the course of 10 minutes and then drops back down to 20MB and begins to climb again. Is this normal behavior for SFS2X?

Yes, there is no problem. What you're looking at is the garbage collector activity, regaining memory when lots of non used objects are 'floating' in memory.

This is absolutely the normal way in which almost any Java software (or any virtual machine) behaves.
