Connection failed: Is the server running at all?

Hi

I am getting "Connection failed: Is the server running at all?" error while connecting to server

its working on localhost but not working on production server

Hi,
here's a quick checklist ...

1) make sure websockets are active in the server config (AdminTool > Server Configurator)
2) make sure no firewall is blocking the server's websocket port (default is 8888)
3) make sure no firewall is blocking the client's ability to connect.
