Remote player in Falling anim loop

I have two projects, both with Ready Player Me skins. My new one loads RPM avatar skins via ID. The older project uses avatar skins in the project which I downloaded manually.
-Both are based on the Shooter Unity example. Both have almost identical code (dif being the downloaded skins and using Login/Lobby on one custom screen).
-Both projects use the same settings for Localhost SF2X server and for the lobby/room/servlet names.

In the recent past, I solved a problem where the remote player always is seen by the local player as 'falling' - stuck in the 'In Air' looping animation node of the S2FX Shooter's Animation controller.

- In the old project, the remote avatar is correct, not stuck in a falling animation loop.
- In my new mode, remote characters float in place stuck in the 'falling' anim node.

I've compared both codes and compared the panels added during runtime. There must be a difference, but I haven't found it.

Question: has anyone else seen this problem? How did you solve it (break the remote player out of the initial fall loop so it goes to idle until moved in the SF2X Animation Controller)?
