Installing Blue Box

Post by juancarlos »

I have just installed SFS 1.6.5.
Does this version already include the last version of Blue Box?
I mean: should I install also Blue Box or Blue Box was already installed when I installed SFS?

Thank you

It is already installed.
All you have to do is activating the http-server from the config.xml or from the Admin Tool

Thank you

The BlueBox depends on the internal http server.
By default it starts with SmartFoxServer, so you don't need to change anything unless you have already modified that parameter.

When SFS starts it will show you the version of the BlueBox, which means that it is up and running. To double check point your browser to http://localhost:8080/BlueBox and you should see a simple welcome page.
